You First Sports announced today its entrance into the Italian market with the opening of a branch in Milan. The Spanish multinational sports marketing firm represents more than 420 athletes in 23 countries and has negotiated sponsorship agreements for a range of sports amounting to €55 million over the past 3 years.
You First Sports Italy will be run by Country Manager Davide Ghione. Ghione has worked as the Marketing and Sales Director for Olimpia Armani Jeans Milano since 2008 and was the International Sponsorship Director for the Adecco Group before that.
On the sales management side, Davide Ghione will work with Matteo Di Monaco who has 2 years’ experience at the firm’s HQ in Madrid, and said, “I’m enthusiastic about this new challenge. I believe that now more than ever before the Italian sports marketing segment and the sports business sector in general need highly specialised people from the industry with specific skills and experience.”
