Javi Varas made a superlative match against Villarreal with several outstanding performances, but at the end of shock was happier with the result of the team rather than his individual efforts: “Good, I am content even though I let in two goals. I am never happy with everything, but my personal action must be committed to the team and the attitude that it has.”
Varas confessed that the clash became ugly because “in the second half they went out with intensity and the change of Rossi strengthened them a lot. His goal changed the match, but luckily we knew how to react and played a beautiful match. Both sides had their chances and luck accompanied ours.”
He confessed that “dreaming always is possible” in reference to the possibilities of playing in the Champions League. “One must be realistic, it is difficult and we are obligated to win the five matches that are left and then we will see.”
