Russia have named 16 players who will be given a chance to break into the squad for the EuroBasket. Coach David Blatt will first gather these players on 27th June for a one-week training camp, before the senior players arrive to launch their preparations for the EuroBasket tournament that tips off in Lithuania on 31st August. The 16 will be given every chance to prove they belong in the squad for the tournament, in which Russia have been drawn in Group D alongside Bulgaria, Georgia, Ukraine, Belgium and Slovenia.
