Gran Canaria 2014 have agreed on terms of contract with Marquez Haynes for two seasons. The 24-year-old guard spent the last season in France. He tallied 14.3 points, 3.9 assists, 2.2 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game for Chalon in ProA. It was the first pro season for Marquez Haynes.
The guard graduated the University of Texas at Arlington in 2010. Marquez Haynes was named All-Southland Conference Player of the Year the same season. He also made it into NABC Division I All-District 23 1st Team. Haynes helped Chalon to the French Cup title last season.
