Regarding the wourkouts for the Lithuania European Championship, bulgarian player Kaloyan Ivanov says it was imperative for Bulgaria to bring in new faces. "It's best that we have new guys," he said. "The Bulgarian national team needs these new guys, players who have something to prove every day. These guys are very talented, I'm surprised how much they have progressed in the past year."
As for the opponents, Bulgaria will compete in Group D with Georgia, Russia, Ukraine, Belgium and Slovenia Kaloyan said that "right now, no one is interested in the other teams. Everyone is looking to enter the tournament in top form and to do as well as they can. When the games come, we can then begin to talk about it (the opponents)."
