Asefa Estudiantes keeps Granger and Driesen

Asefa Estudiantes announced signing of a two-year contract extension with Jayson Granger (186-G-89). At the same time the Students extended Yannick Driesen (215-C-88) for one year.

Jayson Granger joined Estu in 2005, but played for their second team first two seasons. In 2008 he moved to Estu top squad averaging 5.8 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.6 assists in ACB. In 2009/10, Granger had 3.3 ppg, 1.5 rpg and 1.4 apg. Last season he played 34 games in ACB colelcting 6.5 ppg, 1.9 rpg and 2.5 rpg. Granger also added 5.4 ppg, 3.1 rpg and 4.3 apg in 14 EuroCup games. In 2009, Jayson Granger helped Estu reach the Copa del Rey Semifinals. In the past he played for Cordon juniors. Granger is a former member of the Uruguayan National Team. He played for them in 2009. In the past, Granger also played for U19, U18 and U16 Uruguay.

Yannick Driesen joined Estu in 2006 from the Belgian D2 team Sint-Jan Antwerpen. He played few games for Estu in December in January.
