J.J. Hickson has signed to play in Israel for Bnei Hasharon and he will replace the Wasington Wizards Trevor Booker who had to leave the team due to injury. Hickson plans to leave for Israel this weekend and his contract includes an NBA opt-out clause in the event the league and player’s union reach a new labor deal. Bnei Hasharon plays in the Israel-Premier League and its season concludes next March. The centre notched 13.8 points, 8.7 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game for the Cleveland Cavaliers and was drafted by the Cavs back in 2008.
