American-Lebanese Jackson Vroman had an amazing evening in the last round for ET Land and that's him to receive a Asia-basket.com Player of the Week award for round 14. The 30-year old had a double-double of 20 points and twelve rebounds, while his team beat Anyang KGC (8-5) 75-70. ET Land is placed at 4th position in South Korean KBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. ET Land will need more victories to improve their 8-5 record. Vroman turned to be ET Land's top player in his first season with the team. Jackson Vroman averages this season 17.9ppg and 9.3rpg.
The third best performed player last round was American swingman Chris Williams (199-F/G-80) of Daegu Orions (#10). Williams showcased his all-around game by recording 28 points, fourteen rebounds (!!!) and six assists in the last round. Despite Williams' great performance Daegu Orions lost 79-99 to the higher-ranked Mobis Phoebus (#7, 5-8). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Daegu Orions can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have extremely bad season and 2-11 record places them at the very bottom of the standings. Too bad for Williams he does not play for a better team. But maybe if he did, his season stats would not be that high. Williams has individually a great season in South Korea. After 13 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 24.2ppg (3rd best) and assists with 5.2apg (4th best). He also has 2.5spg, 1.2bpg and FGP: 66.7%.
