Gescrap Bizkaia Bilbao has announced the signing of Mamadou Samb. The centre comes from CB Granada. Mamadou Samb tallied 10.9 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game in LEB Gold. Previously he had stints with Barcelona junior team, Josep Badalona, Cornella, Regal Barcelona. Eurobasket.com named Mamadou Samb into LEB Silver All-Defensive Team in 2009. He was the member of Spanish U20 National Team. The centre averaged 11.0 points, 7.1 boards and 1.6 blocks per game at 2009 European Championship U20 in Greece. Samb earned Eurobasket.com All-European Championship U20 Honourable Mention. Samb also participated at Adidas World Junior Tournament in Douai in 2008.
