Mets de Guaynabo announced forward James Maye as their first import for the 2012 BSN season. Guaynabo can sign two more imports and one of them has to be Latin-American. Maye played last season with Caciques de Humacao and made his BSN debut in 2009 with Indios de Mayagez.
For this season Guaynabo has a great group of talent led by Angel Daniel Vassallo and Buster Figueroa. In this offseason they added Manuel Narvaez, Bobby Joe Hatton and Johwen Villegas making them one of the favorites on paper.
