SPORTlab, new Italian partner

You First Sports has reached an agreement with the Italian basketball agency SPORTlab, in which Virginio Bernardi and Massimo Iacopini work. This agreement allows us to collaborate in placing You First clients exclusively in Italy and vice versa.

Virginio Bernardi, SPORTlab CEO, was a basketball coach for 16 years, coaching in Brescia, Forlì, Varese, Reggio Emilia, Trieste, Caserta, Cantù, Fabriano, Lugano, Rieti, Scafati, Montegranaro and was Coach of the Year in 1993. Left the coaching profession in 2001 and became an agent with Luciano Capicchioni's Interperformances and now ready to start a new agency SPORTlab. His company is nowadays a point of reference for all the italian coaches. Today they represent: Luca Bechi, Davide Bruttini, Bucchi, Attilio Caja, Massimo Cancellieri, Roberto Chiacig, Fabrizio Frates , Andrea Ghiacci, Giulio Griccioli, Federico Fucà, Matteo Maestrello, Phil Martin, Max Menetti, Cesare Pancotto, and many others.

Massimo Iacopini was a basketball player for 17 years and has played in teams like Fortitudo Bologna, Benetton Treviso, Siena and Padova. He wore the Italian National team Jersey 105 times in 3 different European Championships. In 2002 he became General Director of his old Club in B2 League USE Empoli until 2006. In 2006 Benetton call him back with the role of Team Manager and Assistant GM and remained there until 2010. In 2011 he worked as Italian correspondent for the BDA Sports Management agency of Los Angeles.
