Cajasol Sevila extended contract with experienced Elmer Bennett (183-G-70, college: Notre Dame) for one more season. Bennett joined Sevilla in January 2008 after what he showed nice performance in ACB league. For 19 games he averaged 11.5 ppg, 2 rpg, 4.8 apg and 1.1 spg. His team finished ACB regular season on 10th place with score 14-20. Before Cajasol, Elmer Bennett used to played two years for Joventut Badalona, with whom he won FIBA EuroCup. In the past he also played for Real Madrid as well as 5 seasons in TAU Ceramica. With TAU he captured the title in ACB in 2002 and was named to be the MVP of the final series. Bennett had couple of attempts to get into the NBA mix in the past but it wasn't successful.
