After contract extension with head coach Ricard Casas, Menorca also agreed terms with José María Guzmán (183-G-84) to stay in the club for two more years. Guzman had 28 appearances in ACB regular season averaging 4.2 rpg and 1.6 apg. Menorca succeeded to avoid relegation finishing it on 16th position with 12 wins and 22 defeats. It was the third year for Menroca in ACB league. Guzman moved to Menorca in 2007 from CB Tarragona, where he spent two seasons. He started basketball career in Joventut Badalona.
