Regal F.C. Barcelona officially confirmed that Daniel Santiago will reinforce the team in season 2008-09. Santiago, who spent the last three seasons in Unicaja Malaga, shall undergo the usual medical tests in the next days after joining team practices. Santiago will fill the gap that Mario Kasun left in Barcelona's roster this summer. Santiago averaged 9.7 points, 3.7 rebounds and 0.8 blocks per game in ACB while he stayed in Malaga.
