Caja Laboral starting point guard Marcelinho Huertas will miss at least two weeks after being diagnosed a muscle micro-tear in his left thigh. Huertas was injured during practice on Saturday and missed his team's Spanish League game against Gran Canaria 2014 on Sunday afternoon. He is expected to undergo further exams on Monday morning in order to determine the recovery time, but the initial diagnosis points to two-to-three weeks of rest, which means that Huertas will miss the next Euroleague game against Marousi on Wednesday and likely the following game against CSKA Moscow. Huertas averaged 14.3 points and 2.3 assists over the first three Euroleague games, including a season-high 21 points against Union Olimpija. Also under treatment at the club are Tiago Splitter and Fernando San Emeterio, both with sprained ankles.
