Grupo Begar Leon announced signing of Franco Rocchia on a two-year contract extension. It means that the Italian / Argentinean guard will stay at the club until the end of 2011/2012 season.
Rocchia appeared 20 times this season for Leon averaging 9.5 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.6 assists. He joined the team during the summer 2008 from C.B. L'Hospitalet. In his first season with Leon, Rocchia had 6.7 ppg and 3.5 rpg in 36 appearance. Interesting is that he already was a member of Leon from 2003 to 2006.
